Jack Hawker
CEng MIStructE


Jack’s passion is in timber construction, having studied and worked in Scotland developing products such as Glulam, Cross-laminated timber (CLT) and Brettstapel from homegrown timber.
He went on to manage the construction of several student-led projects at Hooke Park, the Architectural Association’s satellite campus in Dorset renowned for its innovation in construction, before working on large scale engineering projects in London, Canada, China and the USA.
Jack has tutored in engineering and construction at Bath University, Oxford Brookes, UCA and the Architectural Association and is also involved in practical workshops such as Studio in the Woods and Carpenters without Borders.
